Layers window won't open

When trying to pull down my layers using the button on the toolbar the computer locks up and the layer window will not open. But I can push escape and go back to my normal drawing. Anybody have any ideas?

It sounds like your Layer Manager is opening off screen.

You could try changing your Registry key for the layer manager window.

This is the registry location:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R17.0\ ACAD-5001:409\Profiles\<<Your Profile Name>>\Dialogs\LayerManager

Change the "Bounds" key value to something like: 100, 200, 700, 400
