Curved elevation

I am trying to draw a 2d elevtion of a curved wall and railing. Any suggestions on how i could skew the railing so that it reads as a curve on elevation? The railing consists of scrolled steelwork so i think i would have to skew these as well. Is there any command or method that would help me out with this?

Add vertival lines...
at the midpoint of the curve... the lines should be close together...
and as the it curves out...
the lines should spread out....
