What you actually want is version 14.01 which was the last free upgrade in recorded history from Autodesk. It was more stable and had some nice added features.

Not sure if Autodesk still considers R14 "legal" since they abandoned support on it some time ago.

Biggest problem is that many threw their disks away otherwise some would probably send them to you w/o charge.

Wow acad R14 I think I have a copy somewhere .. but as csiarch said most users threw their discs away long ago .. so unless you know some one that mave access to cad software ... try ebay.

Why would you do that to yourself!? You can get AutoCAD LT 2007 for like $300, and it's backwards compatible if you NEED R14 stuff.

Just a thought...
