Parts List & BoM trouble

I have just moved up to 2007, having trouble with Parts Lists & BoM. I have written Parts list for parts in a few dwgs, part references are all OK, balloons are all OK, inserted the Parts List, closed the drawing, re-opened the next day and all part refs and parts lists have turned to blocks and are not editable. Am I missing a setting or something else to stop parts refs from turning into blocks?

Any ideas or help really appreciated, thanks.

Well, I found the problem, just posting, hoping it may be of use to readers.
Problem was from the Template drawing I use to start all new drawings in 2007. It was created in 2002 version and I omitted to run it through the Migration Manager, so some of the BoM data in the old template did not like running in 2007.
Ran it through Migration manager and no more problems.
