Having not used Autocad for a few days I experienced the following problems when starting a session.

When I started Autocad 2007 I noticed that the "Choose a Workspace" dialogue box was EMPTY. So I continued as though everything was OK.
When default drawing opened there was only a few drop down menus, ie File, Window, Help. Commands could still be used thro' Cursor/Commandline.
Have tried to load "acad.cui using "menu". (Is this correct?) "Invalid" is the result.
Have not got to terms with the new Menu concept yet.

Have reinstalled Autocad 2007 a few times to no avail, problem still persists.

Anybody got any ideas?

Thanks in anticipation

This has happened to me a few times on my home computer, but never on my work computer. I'm not sure why it keeps happening, but you can reload your acad.cui through the MENULOAD command.

If your cui file has become corrupt, you will need to copy and paste your "backup" acad.cui from C:\Documents and Settings\"Username"\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2007\R17.0\enu\Backup to C:\Documents and Settings\"Username"\Application Data\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2007\R17.0\enu\Support

Also put a copy of your menu file in the support folder in Program files\Autodesk\ Autodesk 2007 (where it always used to be) that will get you out of trouble if your profile keeps corupting.
