Help Me It's Monday

As a new user to AutoCad I need to know how I take a template that I already made and use it to create varition of it w/o it changing at the model level. I just spent 3 days doing a "cookie cutter" drawing with few changes and found that ALL my tabs reflect the last "cookie cutter" drawing I did. Help as I'm losing my mind!!

Did you try FILE> NEW ?
It should prompt you for a template...
You can then point to it.... *.DWT


If you left it as a DWG... then just rename the file as a DWT...

other wise....

Just insert the file as a block and explode it and revise it accordingly....

Thanx for the help I feel so DUH!!!! Last time I used AutoCad it was AutoCad14/LT so............:confused:
