Acad 2007 - Double Click Text Editing

In Acad 2006 and earlier versions it was possible to double click text and this would bring up the text editor box. In 2007 it seems that this is not working.

My dblclkedit is on and pickfirst is set to 1.

Any ideas? :r_wtf:

Thank you for the link that you sent.

Unfortunately having closely followed the steps provided I had no joy in being able to edit dimension and normal text. I find this kind of frustrating as when using Acad 2006 it is just a case of simply double clicking a passage of text and the text editor box appears.

Any further help would be very much appreciated.

In the options , user preference box i have found that the windows standard behaviour double click edit box will toggle that option. I have just tried it again to make sure and works just fine. hope it helps
