Dimension Line Weight

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the problem mentioned in the above title. Basically I have recieved a drawing from a client which contains some dimensions on it and when I go to print this drawing the line weight is correct, showing a thin line with clear arrow heads.

The problem arrises when I add in some dimensions myself under a new dimension style. I have made all the settings in the new dimension style the same as the clients dimension style but when print the drawing it shows my new dimensions as a thicker line thus not displaying the arrow heads.

Any help would be much appreciated!

The dimensions look the same on screen, its just when they are printed that the
problem occurs.

I think you need to be using the same settings in your plotting style as the client has in theirs. Just a guess...

And it may also have something to do with the layer the dims are on

Also - along the lines csiarch was on, did the client also provide you with the plot style (.ctb) file when they gave you the .dwg? you will need to get the ctb file from them to plot as it should look to them??
