hello again!

i have a question yet again...hopefully not a hard one this time.

i am in love with the "quick leader" (ql) command. it is however, a bonus tool, and so everytime i open a new file i have to go back into bonus tools and go through all the selections etc to set it up each time, and then i can use the command. this may not seem like a big deal, but it can be annoying. i was just wondering if there was a way to have autocad automatically load the command when it opens so that all i have to do is type "QL" and i will get my beloved leader tool, rather than having to set it up a bazillion times.

thanks in advance! :)

This thread at Autodesk has some suggestions, and code for saving & restoring Qleadersettings.

Creating a template w/leaders in it might save you considerable time.

I always set up anything with an arrow leader as a dimension style and use Qleader > Options to set justification, location, number of segments first segment angle within the dimension style.

Defining arroe leaders as their own styles instead of simply using them when the mood strikes seems to owrk fairly well.
