How can I save a newly defined dimension style?

When I use the dimension style manager to create a new style, it shows up the list under dimension styles. Is there a way to make this new style show up in other drawings that I open? It appears to only be saved under the current drawing that I created the new style in. Thanks

You can use design centre to view open drawings and there blocks, textstyles and dim styles etc. You can drag and drop a dimstyle from one drg to the next.
Create a template with all the settings and style you need for new drawings that you create and drag dim dim styles from it into other drgs when needed.
You can set your options to use your new template for all new drawings, a couple of piccys may help -
