Tell me if anyone knows a quick fix for this problem:
When I try to do a match properties on a particular machine within my office's network, the command is listed as unknown. The pgp file and arx files as well as other info on this particular machine is the same as mine on which the MatchProp command works. Does anyone know a possible reason why the Match Properties command would not be able to run on this particular machine?

...When I try to do a match properties on a particular machine within my office's network, the command is listed as unknown. ....?
Hmmm.... :?
Does this happen while your in a session of AutoCAD? For example, you in AutoCAD and the command works at first but then ... doesn't work the 5th or 6th time?
If so, exit AutoCAD and go back in .... it should come back.
If the command totally doesn't work, check the "Support File search directory" ..... is the 1ST fOLDER ... a "read only" folder .... if so "ADD" a new folder that has "FULL ACCESS". (Something ... like ... "C:\temp\)
It could be the file structure for that machine doesn't allow "temp" files to be written in the first folder.
Certain LISP/ macro will write a TMP file in the folder it sits in .... other times it will try to write TMP files to the 1st folder listed in the FILE directory.
If the 1st folder is only READ-ONLY, then AutoCAD will say "unknown" command or some other error message.
Let me know if it did or din't work.

The unknown command for matchprop comes up in every autocad session and dwg separately. It does not recognize the command from the beginning. I have restarted the machine as well as ACAD. I changed the support file directory to reflect a temp (not read-only) folder to be the first referenced folder, that did not work either. Any other possibilities? Maybe a bad lisp routine or arx app? Let me know what you think.

What version of AutoCAD is on the offending computer, and what OS does it run on?

OK ....
If all that didn't work .... then it may be a corrupt support file.
May need to re-install ACAD.
Or if you know the ARX files for matchprop ... copy those over from a good machine. :?
Sorry couldn't be any more help.
Maybe VeryCivil ... is on to somethin'.

The offensive (offending) computer is a WinXP Pro machine and is running ACAD2000i. Let me know if this raises any red flags. In the meantime I will check to see if replacing the arx file with my own will work. Thanks guys, have a good day!
