turn off proxy graphics dialog when opening files

Whenever I open a dwg, a dialog box about proxy graphics opens. The "do not show proxy graphics" option is set. I click ok and it goes away. Can I keep this dialog box from opening when I open files? thanks

There are 2 system variable regarding this, I believe they are PROXYNOTICE and PROXYDISPLAY - check help file for settings. It's probably 'proxynotice' you want to set to 0.
