CONFUSED (which autocad is best for me)

:yikes: feedback: I'm a student in a drafting program we use the autocad 2004. I'm wanting to purchase autocad for my own computer but I don't know which version to go with. I want to be able to do 2D, 3D, animation, mechanical, automotive, and architectural drafting/drawings. Someone PLEASE HELP ME !!!

My advice is always buy the latest version.... although opinions may vary here... :p

Agree w/architech about versions EXCEPT you might want to wait a while on 2007 until they unravel some of the bugs.....
