Hi all,

Just wondering if anybody knows how to convert a circle - that is drawn in paperspace - into a viewport using AutoCAD LT?

I can easily do it in Vanilla just by selecting view>viewports>object but for some reason LT does not have this function??

Another anoying thing about circular viewports is that i cannot scale or lock them?? why is this.

Maybe i am going blind, but i cannot for the life of me find these functions!

This function is not available in LT versions...try the LT Extender as it may have something similar...

Hi,

here You have a viewport as a circle (2004.dwg). I think You can import it in Your LT and edit it... Have a try & reply...

Once the viewport has been created in full 2004, if you open the drawing LT2004 then it will still be there and you should be able to copy/paste from one drawing to another (no guarantee), what you just can't create it..in LT
