more splines please...

I'm looking for an add on that allows the creation of bezier type splines and or editability of splines through interpolation points as opposed to autocads control points. In short, I need more creative control over my curves. Any advice is welcome and appreciated. Thanks everyone.

If you need to edit a spline object and make the vertex editing more precise, increase the order of the spline curve.
Use the SPLINEDIT command, the Refine option and set "Elevate order" to 26
