2oo5LT plotting

I have a problem with AutoCAD LT 2005. I have used 2000lt and have not any problems. The plotter I am using is an older HP Designjet 700 ('97). I use 36" wide rolls and plot finished sheets size of 24"x36". The problem I am having is this: After plotting, the sheet size is cut off at 25" not 24". Not only that, but it won't plot to the scale specified, but rather seems to plot to fit. Any help?

First, try to find and load the latest driver for your plotter. Doing this may solve some of the other issues you mentioned.

If it seems to be plotting to fit, this is usually a matter of either redefining a plot style or creating a new one in 05LT.

The developers often screw around with tweaks and "improvements" from one version to the next so things that worked fin in one version may be "improved" to the point where they are goofy in the new version.

Assuming you know how to set up plot styles, try experimenting a bit.
