Anti-Ad/spy ware ("AD Aware")

My computer recently crashed from battling off these spy-wares and ad-wares...

I use "LavaSoft Ad Aware SE".
I tried "Spybot" but it has its own share of "ad-ware".

Now after restoring my drive I have "Trend Micro PC-cillin 2005" and LavaSoft running so far so good.

Anyway "LavaSoft Ad Aware SE" is free.

did you download spybot from http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
or from another site?

i've been using spybot for a few years now haven't had a problem.
can you explain in what type of ad-ware spybot has.
