Help with printing

I want to print a house plan I've drawn but I'm having problems. What command do I use so that the windows and doors from the back of the house do not show up on the front of the house when I,m printing. I'm familiar with the hide and shade commands but everything from the back still shows up.

If the house is in 3D and you have created it entirely with surfaces; then you get a good view with the "HIDE" or "SHADE" command.

If the house is 3D and is made up of basic line work; use "DVIEW", select the entire house and use the "CLIP" option. Then clip from "back to front".

"DVIEW" has lots of cool (and confusing) tools built into it that are fun to mess with. Just pay attention to the command propt line.
