Precedent file opening

I have been used to Autocad automatically going down to the list of file and highlighting the one I have opened last, thereby making it easy to keep tract of where I am with my work. Specially when I am making PLT and PDF files of a huge number of DGW's.

After I have installed 2006, it just directs me to the folder of the file per se. Is there a way to configure this? - Thanks

try the "rememberfolders" variable

Thank you so much for you assistance, but it did not seem to get to the function I wanted.

I wanted my "OPEN FILE" command to automatically scroll down to the file I last opened and hightlighted that particular file.
