Is there any way at all, no matter how painful to convert an Autocad 2000 or higher version file to a miniCad file? Extension .mcd.

The older versions of Autocad pre 2000, let you save as a .dwg and then import into minicad. All versions 2000 and higher give you a "The file/data is damaged" errors, and do not import anything.

PLEASE HELP! We have SEVERRAL users that use only minicad due to licensing, and our Facilities drawings can no longer be imported over.

Thank You!

Try downloading the BATCH DWG converter. It might have the release you're looking for....

I think he implied that the R14 DWG was better to import into MiniCAD .... versus the 2k DWG, which gives an error message.... I think .... this why I gave the link to the Batch converter.....

I could be wrong. ;(

Let us know if anything here helped. 8)
