Opening a Drawing

Basically when I open AutoCAD it automatically wants to open a drawing from the command line i.e type in the path name. It also appears to default to the same drawing everytime.

This is the only way it will allow me to open a drawing and it is most frustrating.

I was wondering if any of you knew of a command or other method of switching back to the normal method of opening a drawing i.e "File" and "Open".

Any help would be much appreciated.

try typing FILEDIA
set it to 1.
