 Does anyone know of issues printing from AutoCAD 2000 SP2 to an A3 Hewlett Packard DeskJet 1220C? I have users on several PCs getting an intermittent (but far too regular) Blue Screen Of Death when they print.

It's a lovely bit of hardware but it's not fulfilling its sole purpose - to let the CAD users print their drawings!

I updated the printer drivers a while ago but it's making no difference. I don't think it's on particularly large drawings either (maybe 3Mb for example). They don't have any trouble printing to our A1 DesignJet 750C.

They haven't reported problems printing to this printer from other applications.

Try upgrading to Win 2000. Win 98 is far too old to be running on a network, whilst trying to keep up with the latest technology. You could also try Win xp as that solves all problems!

Yeah, we will be migrating all the CAD users to Windows 2000 SP4 but probably not until April or May so I was hoping to find a solution to keep them going for a bit longer.

XP - LMAO !!!! ;)
