Might anyone have some good tutorials that are free for AutoCAD 2005? I'm completely new to the program and although I've fiddled with it, cant do a single thing of interrest. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction of a good one. Thanks in advance!

Check out some of the links in this board.

Another route might be to draw up a set of plans.
Like drawing up your floor plans for your house or apartment.
Alot of members here and at other forums recommend this method for learning AutoCAD.

Another good tool would be to print out the PGP file. This file contains shortcuts in AutoCAD. Like the COPY command might be CP as the type in to launch the copy command.
Print this file out and just go down the list and explore each command. Use F1/ help ... to see more options under each command.

Good luck and check back in to see if we can help out some more.
:D

The PGP (AutoCAD Program Parameters) file is an autocad system file that contains external Commands and command alias' for autcad...I strongly recomend you backup this file before editing it in anyway
The file is located in the support directory found under you autocad installation....
