Welcome to this NEW forum feel free to post any questions or introduce yourself here. :D
Hi,
I'm PJ.
Been using CAD for 4 years now and now the product extremely well. I have also done a fair bit of VBA and Lisp coding for some basic and more complex apps.
I'll be on every few days and do my best to help. I only ask that when I need it you return the favour!
All the best! :D

Hi. I'm Jorge from Puerto Rico. I've been using AutoCAD LT 2004 for the past seven months now and I'm still learning its many features.
Right now I would like to know if there other symbols available other than those listed on the Design Center on line. I'm working on drawing a fire line on a drawing and would like to see if there are symbols for hydrants and sprinkler system. Any help would be appreciated.

if you go search on google with the next text : "AutoCAD Symbols + download" you find hunderds of them.
Otherwise, if you're willing to pay, go here:

I'm Tony from the USA... I've been working with AutoCAD since R12, so I've been around long enough to see most everything, good and bad.
I've mostly worked in land development so most my experience with third party software is geared towards civil engineering.
As for LSP or VBA, I never really did more than some simple dabbling at home. If someone knows of a good online lesson, I'd like to be better.
I fell in love with Autocadeverything at first sight.

Hey VERYCIVILDRAFTER.....If you're intrested there is a free lisp course I've posted in TUTORIALS forum here on autocadeverything.
VBA though is a little bit different...you could try www.afralisp.com for both LISP and VBA to get you started.
Good luck and happy programming.....

Hallo everyone,
I'm new here in this forum, though I'm not new with AutoCAD. At the moment I have my own "two men company" (located in Austria - not Australia  and I make Lisp- and arx-programms for some clients, mainly in the field of survey and GIS.
I'm using Autodesk Map 2002 and 2004 and rmMAP (an Austrian GIS application).
Because i've learnd many things from different forums I will try to share my knowledge with others and hope that i can help in some cases

Cadman sits all day with his Cyber fishing rod, hooking in the CAD experts from all around. What does he use for bait?
COFFEE and DONUTS! :D
